The insulated door leaf is clad in galvanised steel with a PVC coating and complemented by a thermally insulated aluminium threshold. An aluminium frame is included with THERMO HOT 78/88 and available as an option for THERMO 64/78. Four designs with vertical glazing and 18 finishes for each design.

Construction and thermal insulation

THERMO HOT 88 — 88 mm door leaf, Ud from 0.67 W/(m²·K); aluminium frame. THERMO HOT 78 — 78 mm door leaf, Ud from 0.71 W/(m²·K); aluminium frame. THERMO 78 — 78 mm door leaf, Ud from 0.72 W/(m²·K); steel or aluminium frame. THERMO 64 — 64 mm door leaf, Ud from 0.88 W/(m²·K); steel or aluminium frame.

Door leaf construction

A PUR-filled door leaf with a weather-resistant composite leaf frame and 0.6 mm galvanised steel cladding with a PVC coating.

Dimensions

Made-to-measure doorset dimensions, including the frame: 770–1210 × 1800–2480 mm, in 10 mm increments. Standard widths: 80N, 80, 90N, 90 and 100. Below 1984 mm in height, only a single-lock configuration is available.

Opening direction and specification

Left- or right-hand opening. Outward opening is available for THERMO HOT 88 and THERMO HOT 78. The specification includes a multipoint lock, adjustable three-pin hinges and anti-lift bolts.

Design and glazing

HORN 1 and HORN 2 — PLAIN GLASS; HORN 4 and HORN 5 — PLAIN LACOBEL GLASS. Available glazing: black, clear, sandblasted and graphite glass, one-way mirror glass, Brown Reflex and Grey Reflex. The glazing dimensions for HORN 1 and HORN 2 are 50 × 1600 mm.

Additional options

Sidelights and a fanlight are available with an aluminium frame. A drip rail is available for inward-opening doors. The door viewer, lever handles, pull handles, lock cylinders and escutcheons are selected to suit the construction and specification.

Ud values are given for an inward-opening glazed door without sidelights or a fanlight, at a reference size of 1230 × 2180 mm. The final value depends on the construction, frame, dimensions and specification. Entrance assemblies with sidelights or a fanlight have not been tested to RC2.
