    USAGE INSTRUCTIONS

Unwind installation tape from spool and cut off the required length. Remove the protective film from the adhesive strip and glue to the window jamb. If a window or door is installed flush with the wall plane, one tape-width of extra room must be left in the corners (see the drawing). If a window or door is installed inwards from the wall plane, half a tape-width of extra room must be left in the corners (see the drawing). The tape is glued along the perimeter of the frame, starting from the bottom strip of the window (stool).

Proceed analogously on all sides of the window that are to be sealed. Then, fit the window or door jamb into place, fasten it properly and fill the window joint with construction foam. Once the foam has solidified, remove any excess foam and fasten the other edge of the tape to the jamb/wall. For optimum adhesion, use a pad roller. The adhesive strip on either side of the window tape enables the jointing tape to be installed both before and after installation of windows/doors and use of assembly foam. For optimum adhesion, use a pad roller.

    TIPS
  • Installation surfaces must be clean, dry, and free from oil, grease and dust.
  • Chemicals containing agents that prevent or reduce adhesion must not be used.
  • The roughness, unevenness or porosity of a surface may reduce adhesion. It is recommended to stabilise non-adhesive surfaces by priming with PENOSIL Premium BetPrimer bonding dispersion solution at a ratio of 1:5.
  • PENOSIL Premium Seal&Fix 709 adhesive sealant is suitable for connecting the beginning and end of the jointing tape.
  • If the adhesive strip becomes dusty or loses its adhesive ability for any other reason, alternatively use PENOSIL
  • Premium Seal&Fix 709 adhesive sealant to attach the jointing tape.
  • The jointing tape must be covered at the first opportunity but not later than within two months from the installation of the jointing tape.
  • The recommended installation temperature is +5 °C to +30 °C.
