USAGE INSTRUCTIONS
Unroll the installation tape from the reel and cut it to the required length. Remove the protective film from the adhesive tape and attach it to the window jamb. If the window or door is installed flush with the wall surface, leave additional space in the corners equal to the width of the tape (see diagram). If the window or door is recessed into the wall, leave additional space in the corners equal to half the width of the tape (see diagram). Apply the tape around the perimeter of the frame, starting from the bottom of the window. Proceed similarly on all sides of the window that need sealing. Then install the window or door jamb in place, secure it properly, and fill the window joint with foam. Once the foam has cured, remove the excess and attach the other edge of the tape to the jamb or wall. For optimal adhesion, use a roller. The adhesive strip on both sides of the tape allows installation both before and after the installation of windows/doors and the use of foam. For optimal adhesion, use a roller.
TIPS
- Surfaces must be dry and free of grease, oil, and dust. Do not use chemicals containing substances that prevent or reduce adhesion. Surface roughness, unevenness, or porosity may reduce adhesion. To stabilize non-adhesive surfaces, it is recommended to use PENOSIL Premium BetPrimer dispersion solution at a ratio of 1:5;
For joining the beginning and end of the sealing tape, PENOSIL Premium Seal & Fix 709 sealant is suitable;
If the adhesive strip becomes dusty or loses adhesion for any other reason, alternatively use PENOSIL Premium Seal & Fix 709 sealant to attach the tape;
The sealing tape must be covered at the earliest opportunity, but no later than within two months after installation.
